Salume Beddu in St. Louis – Salume is Italian for “cured meat,” and Beddu in Sicilian dialect means “beautiful.” ¬†Owners Mark Sanfilippo and Ben Poremba, along with their staff, hand-create their salumi and sausages. Mark describes their cured meats as “rustic, honest, clean, simple, satisfying.” Responsibly raised pork from local Missouri farms is used in their strict curing process. Salume Beddu products can be found in local and farmers markets across the St. Louis area, as well as in restaurants. Their store front is located at 3467 Hampton Ave. in St. Louis. The quality of their product speaks for itself. No doubt you will be impressed!
